Chemmariner moves forward into the new year with new builds, and a renewed committment to quality
Chemmariner is steadily progressing into the 2009 year with the continuation of their most recent new build M/V Jasmin.
The youngest twin sister to the Chemmariner fleet is new build Jasmin, underway since July 2008 at Argem Shipyards, Turkey. Scheduled for delivery in July 2009, Jasmin is identical to the other sister vessels. These vessels all implement the highest quality standards and practices of new build construction.
In line with the company’s environmental practices and standards, they continue to make use of the worlds first biodegradeable marine lubricant,Castrol Marine. APC MarineLine Coating, and Hempel Hull Coating with Silicon Technologies are used for cargo tanks and hulls. Chemmariner ‘s new builds also use environmentally friendly hydraulic oil, stern tube / gear oil, multipurpose EP grease, synthetic gear oil in areas where there is a risk of spillage/leakage that could result in environmental damage.
Chemmariner continues to serve the the same high standard of quality to all client oil/chemical majors. Their fleet travels all seas, even cross Atlantic voyages and West-African trading routes. Regardless of their route, Chemmariner gives their clientele a consistent and reliable environmentally sounds means of cargo transportation.
